Libscomb vs OSU Men’s Basketball
shot basketball yesterday with Jeff. Fun game to shoot. There were good dunks. OSU won. oh yeah, happy thanksgiving everyone!
Doug
Doug needed headshots. Photographed him in my secret location (everyone photographer knows where it is..lol) in short north. Then we went to the new Thompson Library at OSU and photographed him on the top floor. It was fun catching up with him and Alicia! We use to all go to Chi Alpha together so it was fun catching up with the two of them.
We had fun messing around too!
This was laying around where we shot in the back alley....seriously. It looked like someone was going to come back to pick it up...
Here is the beautiful Alicia!
Mirror Lake Jump
Shot the awesome crazy mirror lake jump for UWeekly this weekend. It was so crazy. This year was the perfect year to jump because the weather was amazing. It wasn't snowing or super cold. Although I didn't jump, I felt like I did because I kept getting splashed on. I was soaked from head to toe! I'm really glad I had wrapped up my camera in plastic because I was observing everyone else with dlsr's and they were not fairing so well. I stood right in the splash zone so I could get some cool shots. Praise God that none of my equipment got damaged... The style of these pictures are a lot different than what I usually shoot. I felt like I needed to capture the chaos by adding motion/blur. I didn't want to complete freeze the motion. Over all, fun yet hectic. I even some video! oh yeah....OSU BEAT MICHIGAN! whooo!
Strobist Meet-up
This weekend brought some excitement into my life. I met up with a group of photographers and a group of models and we had a ball! We shot at Central City Recording Studios and man did I learn a lot this weekend. I didn't shoot a lot, for me it was more of a networking experience for me. I really felt like I needed to meet some photographers and talk and socialize with them. Definitely connected with Frank and Tom. You can check out their websites here and here. Here are some of the shots from the weekend. Thanks to Moishe @ MPEX for helping sponser the whole thing and loaning some awesome gear! And thanks to Frank and Tom for organizing the whole thing!
This model Lazarus knew what the heck he was doing. I definitely will be working with him in the future.
This is my favorite one of the day!
