Bento Go Go Menu Shoot
Here's some photographs from a recent shoot of Bento Go Go's menu. This is only a bit of what we shot. Shout outs to max for his awesome composition on prepping the food. We are going to shoot more in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
Anyways, for technical information, I used a white reflective table with a softbox up high, and a umbrella camera right. A reflector in the back. The idea is to bath the food in very soft light.
All these images and more will be shown in their print ads and at their restaurant!

Elementz 4Square Dance Party
Last thursday, I traveled down to Cincinnati where I photographed a new concept dance competition. It's based off the game of foursquare. Anyways, I'm not going to go into the concept but I thought I would share some photographs with you. These were all taken with my new 1d mark iv =). This camera is fast...fast at everything! I know that I would not have been able to capture all those images without it. My 5d mark ii would not have been able to focus as fast and as accurately in that dark room. All these are lit with speedlights so it was really really dark. The 1d mark iv just hit focus again and again. I'm so happy that I made the plunge and I purchased it. This is going to help me so much in the future with all the action photography that I will be doing in the coming year.

Relax
I apologize for the lack of content and blogs posts. I just don't have much to show you! July has been my month off for. Every artist needs a break from making art. So this has been my month off. There are some really cool and interesting things I will be photographing in the next two months, soI'll be sure to post everything and keep everyone updated, so stay tuned.
Here is a photograph of my friend, George's bike. It's an HDR image but I didn't want to overdo it to make it look unnatural. I think personally there is too much green in the image, but George's favorite color is green so it suits it well. If I could do it differently I would try shooting it with some off camera lighting and no HDR, but it's ok!

Let me upgrade ya
I thought it was time to go mobile with my editing so I got a new laptop. This will enable me to travel and edit as opposed to having to come home to edit. Yay, in other news, my email got hacked and my itunes also got hacked. =( some person spent 40 dollars worth of crap music on my account and now I have to pay for it. Sigh, I'm over it, but it's sad what people in this world do.
July Desktop Background
Here it is! July's Desktop Background. This is an image that I shot with a view camera with film. As you can see with the last couple of desktop images, I'm really fascinated with clouds and the sky. Enjoy!
