Bad Day
Today, I realized that I left my battery charger and battery at the Tribute in Texas. This is very bad because that means, I have to spend money replacing it. This is the first time I have lost equipment on a shoot, so it's really significant for me. It's something that I have to accept. There are a ton of things I have to worry about with my equipment. There are at least a hundred different little/big things I have to keep accountable for, so I'm going to lose stuff. It's inevitable. I just have to be more careful =/ *BIG SIGH*
Luckily my 5d mark II has a AA battery holder so I can still shoot, but this is still bad. Anyways, I haven't written a blog post in awhile, sorry for making this one such a downer.
Holly + Kevan : Wedding
This past weekend, I was in texas celebrating with Holly and Kevan as they got married. It was a full day full of emotion and excitement. One of the best weddings I have attended thus far as a wedding photographer! Anyways, this is a photo blog so here are some photos from the day! The wedding was hosted at The Tribute which is a beautiful golf course in frisco, texas. OMGOSH this place was so beautiful, I wish I had more time with Holly and Kevan to explore the place and shoot! But alas, it was a rather busy day.
Kevan is an awesome designer and artist so he made the bulletins. So awesome.

the whole ceremony was backlit which presented a slight annoyance but it's ok. I'll write a blog post about that later for all those plagued by terrible backlighting

Holly + Kevan : Tea Ceremony
Today, I was fortunate enough to photograph a tea ceremony. It was very awesome and emotional. I really enjoyed photographing it and seeing those moments between the parents and kevan and holly. I could feel the love in the room.

Holly + Kevan : Engagement
I'm currently sitting at the Tribute Golf course half watching the wedding rehearsal. The past couple of days has been crazy and a blast. Here is a preview of the shoot that I did with them on Thursday. It's been so fun! And I'm so happy and blessed to be in Texas celebrating/documenting this special day! More to come.... =)

Camera Bag
I got a new camera bag! And it's awesome! It is the Think Tank Airport Security and it has wheels! This is perfect for me because I can keep it with me when I fly! It fits the standards and it acts as my carry on!
Anyways, I thought I would do my first video! And show how I pack it and what my gear is! Enjoy. Sorry for the annoying whine in the background...don't know what it is.
