Luana + James // Wedding Highlight (FILM)

Last weekend, My buddy Grant Smucker (www.grantsmucker.com) and I went to Virginia to film a wedding! It's always a blessing to be able to travel for work. Usually I like to meet with clients before their weddings to get to know their story. For those who are far away, I try to set up skype sessions but with Luana and James, I was unable to due to busy schedules! Anyways, Luana found me through Gloria + Sam's video. Video is a new medium for me so I'm excited to see people satisfied with my work!

It was such a beautiful wedding. The reception was a blast! DJ EPX tore up the house and they partied till 1 in the mornnnningggg. Best set I have heard in awhile. Photography was done by a couple team SincereLi. These two have some great work and they are one of the nicest photographers I know! I had a great time talking with them about the industry. If you are in the DC area and need some photography, use them! They are passionate about what they do and they know their stuff.

Luana + James: thank you for letting me and grant be a part of your day. Even though it was only for a weekend I feel like we have become great friends! I'm so happy for you two! God bless

Vancouver // vaca

After the VA Wedding, I flew over to Vancouver to go hang with my family! Right as I got in, my grandma took us to Dim Sum which is like a chinese version of tapas..

I have been eating so much the last couple of days!

Spent some time with family and with some friends! Good to see everyone! Also I have been reading Game of Thrones since I'm tired of waiting for the next episode on HBO. I cannot put the book down! It's so good!

Fear not, I have been also doing some editing/work so I don't get behind.

So this vacation has a been a combination of eating/working/sleeping/reading/relaxing/eating

I took some quick simple portraits of my grandma/mother yesterday and I wanted to share them with you all.

It was an overcast day and it had just rained also. Tip for you guys, the best soft portraits come from overcast days. The reason why is that it is just like a giant softbox. It makes for even lighting.

I honestly don't like shooting wide open because it is so hard to get photographs tack sharp. People move, you move and in the end you miss moments because you are refocusing.
