Enter with a bang! This is why I encourage a second photographer for all weddings! If it weren't for Paul, the couple wouldn't have an awesome shot like this. I was located in the back to get a long shot, but none of them ended up working 0ut.

Helmut couldn't make it to the wedding, but he was there in spirit!

At the request of the couple, we had a photobooth that was run by Paul. I normally don't run a photobooth, but I think it was a nice addition to the ceremony!

The reception was DJ'ed by DJ Easy Jake Oven (middle). Amazing DJ! I would recommend him for all weddings. He has some great taste in music.

Of course Paul and I had to hop in for a photograph.

Started with some test shots to see where the light was falling and where I needed to put some light in.

The next day we went to church and ate at some Vietnamese fast food place. It was alright, but it was super cheap! For dinner we went to House of Prime Rib (suggested by Josh). It's famous for their...you guessed it, prime rib. Go watch the vlog for more information on that.

Overall, a very fun trip! Thanks George for hosting me! I'll be sure to come back!

Alcatraz

What was really cool was that up in the mountains, the clouds would come up and over the crest and you would get this mist around you. You basically were in a cloud! It was very windy!

Vloggging

My cousins were amazing hosts and took us everywhere. We first ate breakfast/lunch at this restaurant called Bruxie in downtown orange. They serve waffle sandwiches. It was really good! Afterward we headed to Newport Beach where we went paddle boarding. We ate some more scrumptious food at Taco Mesa and then went back to nap. That evening we randomly got massages and then ate boiling crab! Boiling crab was so good, it is officially my favorite seafood place. They bring out the seafood in bags and you eat with your hands. The sauce they cook it in is amazing. It was delicious. All of these things you can see on the vlog.

After dinner this is where Jeff and I separated! =( He went back to SD and I stayed in OC. Our adventure came to an end!

The next day I went fishing with my grandpa. This is something that I have done almost every time I come to visit. My Grandpa loves fishing. We went to go pier fishing at Huntington Beach. After fishing we ate lunch at ebisu and then we chilled at the house playing some guitar. We went to dinner at Class 302, a boba shop. Got my beef noodle soup on and some amazing boba. I got to meet up with Gigi a friend from back home that works in Cali now. It was a good time catching up with her and talking about old times!

There isn't as many seagulls here as there is in Miami, and they look so much cleaner.

I'm currently in OC at my cousin's house. It's been a busy couple of days and I haven't been able to write at all!

We left Las Vegas and drove to San Diego in around 5 hours. It was great to finally be done with the Road Trip! As much as we love to visit new places, driving there is very tiring.

In San Diego we ate some korean food, some pho, and I ate food plantation for the first time! I got to meet a lot of Jeff's friend and also got to see my cousin Stacey!

I didn't take too many photographs but I got an awesome vlog for you all to watch!

Once in Las Vegas, we hit the strip and ended up at the Bellagio where we ate dinner at the buffet. It was really good! All you can eat crab legs! While eating dinner, we met this man who was a local and he told us the low-down on Las Vegas. We chatted about celebrities and casinos, and even about the prostitution in Vegas. Did you know that prostitution is actually illegal in Vegas but not in Nevada?! I didn't know that.

After saying goodbye, we hit the strip once again to check out the Bellagio's dancing fountain. We wanted to also see the Mirage Volcano, but we didn't want to wait 30 minutes for it. It was slightly sprinkling/windy so the Siren show at Treasure Island wasn't playing.

We ended up in the Riviera where we watched a stand up comedy show. Good stuff.

Overall though it was short, my Vegas experience was good.

Tomorrow we head to San Diego! I get to see my cousin! Whee

Utah was just as beautiful. There were a combination of mountains and flat land. We could see for miles!

Once we got to Provo, we met up with Jeff's friend and talked about some Morman stuff. Interesting....

We ate dinner at Four Seasons Hot Pot and Dumplings. It is this all you can eat hot pot place. I think that's pretty random for being in Provo, Utah. It was delicious!

The hotel we are staying at won't let me upload the vlog! So I will upload it when we get to vegas.

EDIT//Update

Colorado is beautiful! I love the landscape and the sunset was stunning.

We arrived in denver and immediately checked into the hotel. After swimming, we headed to dinner.

We ate dinner at the Queen of Sheeba, an Ethiopian restaurant that was highly rated on yelp. It was both of our first times eating Ethiopian food.

Ethiopian food is eaten with no utensils. You use your hands. To eat, you take this spongy bread that kind of tastes like sourdough and use it to grab the meat. It is very interesting. It was very filling and very rich.

Once we arrived, I finally got to see Deren's (my brothers) house and meet some of his room mates. We went to eat some KC BBQ at this placed called LC's bbq joint. The burnt ends were delicious.

Afterwards we went over to IHOP (International House of Prayer) to check it out because neither Jeff or I have been there before. I finally got to see the 24/7 prayer room live and in person. Both Jeff and I got prayed over and had an amazing time worshiping God in the prayer room.

I was really encouraged by one of the ladies that prayed over me. She basically confirmed my conviction of going to seminary for more training in worship/music. That I was going to learn and excel from this training.
